Former Gerrards Cross Police station site redevelopment - have your say

In March 2017 South Bucks District Council purchased the former Gerrards Cross Police station site for redevelopment.

Exciting plans have been developed by the Council for this site to provide 20 apartments for private rent and 14 apartments  that meets the 40% affordable housing requirement. This scheme will help towards meeting the affordable housing need in our district and provide an income for the Council.

Before the planning application is submitted towards the end of December, we would like to show you the proposed scheme. We have had initial discussions with the planning officers to ensure we have produced a scheme that will be in keeping with the residential area and will enhance the area.

We have arranged for display boards to be set up in the reception area at South Bucks District Council offices (Capswood), Oxford Road, Denham UB9 4LH from 1st December to 15th December 2017 during the SBDC office opening hours (9am to 5pm).

The project costs are being finalised and the scheme will be subject to approval by the SBDC Cabinet. During the planning application process there will be the opportunity to comment on the proposals .

If planning permission is granted, work is expected to start in July 2018 and be completed by August 2019.

We will seek to address comments received, where possible, before the planning application is submitted
