Clinical and Sharps Waste

If you have clinical waste that you need to dispose of please do not put it in your household waste. Syringes, dressings and items of that nature need to be disposed of very carefully.

If you need to arrange a collection please speak to your District Nurse or GP. They will carry out an assessment and will contact us to make arrangements for your Clinical Waste to be collected.

We will then collect your clinical waste from inside your property boundary to ensure discretion. Your collection day will be a Wednesday, please ensure your waste is put out by 7.00am.

Nappies, sanitary and incontinence products are not classed as clinical waste and can be placed into your black rubbish bin.

Please note, we do not operate a commercial clinical waste collection scheme
