Further 'Call for Sites' to inform the Chiltern & South Bucks Joint Local Plan
Chiltern and South Bucks District Councils are asking local people to identify sites within both districts that may have the potential for development over the Local Plan period, up to 2036.
This 'Call for Sites' exercise will run from 3 December 2018 to 14 January 2019 and will be used to update the Council's Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment, which will be part of the evidence base for the new Local Plan.
Landowners, agents and potential developers are invited to update the information on any previously submitted sites and put forward any new sites. These will be assessed for their potential for contributing towards Chiltern and South Bucks' future needs for housing, specialist housing such as for older people or Gypsies and Travellers, employment uses, town centre uses, community facilities, mixed use developments, sport and recreation, no specific use, or other development uses where there is considered to be a specific or general need or opportunity over the period to 2036. You do not need to be the landowner but ideally should provide information and the views of the landowner.
If you want us to consider a site within Chiltern and South Bucks, please complete and submit the form which can be found on the Planning Policy pages, along with a map clearly identifying the boundary. Each site nominated must be submitted via this form to ensure that the Councils have sufficient information to consider all nominations.
Sites submitted will be assessed as part of the Local Plan process; any sites submitted after the 14 January deadline will be banked for future consideration. If you have previously submitted a site for consideration there is no need to resubmit, unless you wish to update the previously submitted information.
Please note that the submission of a site provides no guarantee that it will be allocated in the new Local Plan, or allocated for the suggested use. Only suitable, available and achievable sites will be taken forward.
