Dangerous Dogs

All dogs should be kept under control on a lead when in a public place.

It is an offence to allow any dog to be dangerously out of control in a public place, or a private place where it is not allowed to be, even if it does not cause an injury.

The following breeds are classed as 'dangerous dogs' under the Dangerous Dog Act 1991:

1) Pit Bull Terrier and Pit Bull Terrier types
2) Japanese Tosa
3) Dogo Angentino (Argentine Mastiff)
4) Fila Braziliero

To report a dangerous or illegal dog contact Thames Valley Police on 101.
