The Council has adopted a range of Housing Strategies which are designed to support the delivery of its housing services.

This strategy provides an overview of the work across both Councils to address the need for affordable housing and to tackle and prevent homelessness.

Private Sector Housing Strategy (PDF) [299KB] (opens new window)

This document maps out the Council's strategy and key policies for the repair and improvement of privately owned housing in Chiltern Area and the enforcement of housing standards.

Bucks Tenancy Strategy (PDF) [66KB] (opens new window)

This strategy has been adopted as required by the Localism Act 2011. Registered Providers must have regard to the strategy when they are letting accommodation in Chiltern Area.

Affordable Warmth Strategy (PDF) [1MB] (opens new window)

This strategy sets out the actions the Council and its partners will take to reduce fuel poverty and ensure that homes can be heated affordably.
